This privacy policy explains how COOL Balík, s.r.o. processes personal data of visitors to the coolbalik.eu website, customers and business partners, and what rights you have in relation to such processing. Processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

What data we process and why
Enquiries and communication
When you submit the enquiry form, call us or send an e-mail, we process identification and contact data (name and surname, company name, e-mail, phone) and the content of your message. The purpose is handling your enquiry and negotiating a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data while the enquiry is being handled and for up to 3 years thereafter.
Contract performance and invoicing
For customers we process data needed to provide transport services and for invoicing (contact and billing data, data about shipments and delivery addresses). The legal basis is contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations, in particular accounting and tax laws (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Tax documents are kept for 10 years.
Direct marketing
We may send our customers commercial communications about our services on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you subscribe to our newsletter yourself, we process your e-mail on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) until you withdraw it. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The website uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary (functional) cookies are used on the basis of legitimate interest; statistics cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Google Ads, Seznam Sklik – remarketing and conversion measurement) are used only with your consent given in the cookie banner. Who we share data with
We process personal data primarily ourselves. To the extent necessary we share it with processors and recipients, in particular: the web hosting provider and website administrator, the accounting services provider, Google Ireland Ltd. (analytics and advertising), Seznam.cz, a.s. (Sklik advertising system) and the e-mailing platform provider. Data processing agreements are in place with our processors. When Google tools are used, data may be transferred to the USA; such transfers are safeguarded by an adequacy decision (EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
- the right of access to your personal data and to obtain a copy,
- the right to rectification of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data,
- the right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”) where the conditions are met,
- the right to restriction of processing,
- the right to data portability,
- the right to object to processing, in particular to direct marketing,
- the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing,
- the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.gov.cz, or with your local supervisory authority.

Further information
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place. We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above. We may update this policy from time to time; the current version is always published on this page.
